Inside The Mess Studio

At The Mess Studio, we believe that a supportive community is essential to artistic growth. Our artists come from all backgrounds and cultures, and we provide a safe and inclusive environment for everyone to express themselves.

The Mess Studio Kingston offers a diverse range of supplies for our community members to create with.  One of the most popular would be our painting supplies.  These include acrylic and watercolour.  Come in and develop your skills an a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy our amazing community of artists.

Our studio is blessed with some accomplished potters.  Our pottery room is open Tuesday, Wednesday,  Thursday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and we have lots of clay for you to get your hands dirty.  Our paper-clay gets air-dried, glazed, and then sent to Amaranth Stoneware for firing. It comes back ready for you to enjoy your new creation!

We are excited to have Greg M.  come into the studio the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month to lead our photography group.  From 10 a.m. - noon practice your skills and get valuable feedback and tips to improve your images.
